Getting Wedding dress ready

So why the blog? In two months time I will have my first dress fitting where the lovely seamstress will be taking my measurements and amending the wedding dress I have bought for the big day.

Since last summer I have lost 1.7 stone. I am pretty happy that I have managed to achieve this but the last few pounds have been proving trickier than the first few pounds. I decided to keep myself motivated, and accountable, I would keep a blog chronicling what I eat every day, my weight and my exercise routine. I will shift the last nine pounds.

I got a bit of a shock when I weighed myself last June. I had been holding off weighing myself until I thought I had lost enough to be comfortable with what I might see on the scales, I was 10.7 stone. It was the heaviest I had ever been (to my knowledge). Since a mishap left me unable to walk for a few months and discovering a great Pizzeria at the end of the road  I had crept up from my normal weight, of around 8.10 stone, over the course of a couple of years.  By the end of January I was flitting around the nine stone mark unable to go beneath it and that is why I am starting this blog.

I am certainly no nutritionist and I certainly am not recommending that anyone follows my exact eating plan but I am going to try out a few things to see what works for me.  This weekend is my hen do and after that I have two months to loose the final pounds taking me from 9.2 (I gained two pounds in February as I took time off) to 8.7 stone.
